Monastery Tour

Day 01 : Arrive Kathmandu , transfer to hotel.

Day 02 : After breakfast, visit Boudanath and Kopan Monastery. Kopan Monastery was founded by Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rimpoche in 1970 as a center of Buddhist Teachings. Meet Senior Lama and orientation on Buddhism at Kopan Monastery. Lunch will be served (vegetarian).Evening return back to Hotel.

Day 03 : After breakfast, drive to Namoboudha(45 Kms), Buddhists call it “Tamangligi”, the famous Buddhist spot, where Lord Buddha (on 7th re-incarnation) sacrificed his body to hungry Tigress and its cubs. Evening return to hotel.

Day 04 : After breakfast, visit Pharping Monastery. The Buddhist history says, Milerapa from Tibet took one night shelter in the cave, and accordingly blessed this monastery. Hindus have their version that it was Pancha Pandav who had visited this place. Vegetarian lunch will be served. Evening return to hotel.

Day 05 : After breakfast, visit Beigest Bouddha Stupa and Swayambhunath (Monkey temple), the oldest Buddhist Stupa in Nepal.Return back in hotel.

Day 06: After breakfast, transfer to International airport to connect onward flight

Day 03: Full day Jungle activities. O/N Chitwan.

Day 04: After breakfast, drive Chitwan/Lumbini (Birth place of Lord Buddha). O/N Lumbini.

Day 05: After breakfast, visit Lumbini Garden and Shanti Stupa. O/N Lumbini.

Day 06: After breakfast, drive Lumbini/Pokhara. O/N pokhara.

Day 07: After breakfast, full day sightseeing tour of Pokhara city. O/N pokhara.

Day 08: After breakfast, transfer to airport to conncet flight to Kathmandu . Upon arrival in Kathmandu , transfer to hotel. O/N Hotel.

Day 09: After breakfast, transfer to International airport to connect onward flight..

Holy trip to Muktinath :

Muktinath is one of the high altitude religious sites in the Himalayas. A short flight to Jomsom from Pokhara takes you to the starting point of the trek to Muktinath. Here at Muktinath lies the holy temple and the 108 water spouts. You will also see earth, fire and water come together where the eternal flame burns night and day, giving the place an aura of mystery.

Holy trip to Gosainkunda :

Gosainkunda, a famous pilgrimage site in the Langtang region is 60 km north of Kathmandu. Hindus flock to the holy Gosaikunda Lake during the full moon in August despite the bad weather this time of year. This region falls in the trekking route to Langtang and tea houses can be found all along the trek. Legend speaks of a devout Hindu who was bathing in the lake when his brass water vessel slipped out of his hand. It sank and disappeared from sight. It later miraculously re-appeared in the Khumbeshwor temple in Patan. Thus, there is a belief that an underground channel connects Gosaikunda with Khumbeshwor pond is unusually cold even in summer. Those who can not make the trip to Gosainkunda visits Khumbeshwor temple for a bath in the pond.
