Trip Info

The Lang tang valley called “the valley of glaciers”. Here, mountains rise shinning towards the sky. The valley offers pine forest, swift mountain streams, rugged rock and snow- capped peaks, grassy downs and meadows strewn with daisies and wild premolar. This is an 8 days trekking and 1-rest day. It is a combine camping and home stay and lodge package. It is north of Kathmandu. The journey to the trail head (and back to Kathmandu) takes about a whole day. You will make an interesting trek through Tamang area. They are descendants from Tibet and have hardly seen any tourists. There culture is virtually untouched. There are still bears, leopards, red panda’s and musk deer that however are no danger. In March and April the Rhododendron forests have many different species of trees, birds and butterflies While trekking, you can discover the rough history of the Tibetan ancestors. Their descendants are now Buddhists and living on agriculture and trade. They dress colorful and their houses are adorned with beautiful wood carvings. The views of the Himalayan snow-capped mountains will be unforgettable.With different culture shows of dancing and music in some village, 10 days (7 nights / 8 days camping / homestay with full board)

    Totopani to Nagthali / Thuman (2000 M)

    Thuman to Rasuwagadhi (2240 M)

    Rasuwagadhi to Briddim (2290 M).

  • Day 9

    Rest and exploring day in Briddim.

    Briddim to Syabrubeshi.

    Syaprubeshi to Kathmandu by local bus.
